Garmisch-Partenkirchen is a charming little town perched 3,000 meters above sea level at the summit of Germany’s tallest mountain, Zugspitze. In reality, it was once shown as two smaller towns, one of which was created by the Romans and the other by the Teutonic Order. Before the Olympics, only in 1936, was this lovely city connected. It provides you with the calm that many of us seek on vacation thanks to its stunning vistas.
